15 years private sector experience of non-confrontational project management methodology with Glaxo Group Research, Glaxo Wellcome and GlaxoSmithKline

• Building long term relationships with preferred suppliers.

• Applying modern project management methods to site restructuring, major and minor construction, extension and refurbishment projects.

• Creating Fusion and successfully applying the collaborative concept to major construction projects, notably winning the 1999 Contract Journal Single Project Partnering Award for the Beckenham Biotechnology Restructuring.

• Leader of the team drafting the Strategic Forum for Construction toolkit on Integrating the Industry. Editor and co-author of the content on Integrated Project Teams.

11 years public sector experience with the UK Government Property Services Agency, the pre-eminent public sector facilities and project management organisation of its day

• Overseeing definition, design development and implementation of Defence projects for the United States Airforce in the UK. Projects ranged from support services such as officers quarters and sports facilities to primary defence construction including rebuilding the disused RAF Molesworth Site as the second cruise missile site for the UK.

• Managing multidisciplinary design and construction teams including overseeing office and site based activities for defence, security, ancient monument and historic building projects.
